Video on life in Mongolia in the 1930s

A frame from a 1930s film: a Mongolian man stands between two weathered yurts on the bare steppe.

This is an interesting video showing the lives of nomadic Mongolians in the 1930s. It looks like the video was shot in inner Mongolia by the Japanese. It has nice footage showing yurts, horses, and Mongolians performing some ceremony. Notice that the yurts are covered only in felt, with no cotton outer cover.
